Japan the beginning of a new Era

The first of May was for Japanese the beginning 
of a new Era.
Naruhito was crowned as Japan new Emperor. Very important day for Japanese people.
Our fantastic friends and her mother made it even more special.They took us out at lunch time and off we went to TOKYO! Special lunch at Ukai-Tei....one of the most famous Japanese restaurant,it located underneath of Tokyo tower.
 Having lunch as looking at this beautiful garden.....
Japanese Amuse boushe and special Sake...... no ward to described it ......
Tofu skin and taro stem topped with sea urchin,
Vinegared tomato with lightly seared octopus,
Trout sushi wrapped in bamboo leaf,
Deep-fried river shrimp, Sweet potato.
Deep-fried tofu with miso
Today's sashimi,

Simmered and deep fried eggplant topped with Sakura shrimp,
Tofu in worm seasoned  soymilk,

deep fried and grilled fat greenling fish,
Steamed rice with white bail,
Japanese laqut, Yomogi tofu for dessert.

some of them I forgot to take pictures.... too enjoy the dishes and fun chatting....


And after a 3 hour lunch we went for desserts at the Palace Hotel.

.......and came home at around 22.00 .....WHAT A DAY.!!!....We will never forget it.
