Swiss Bistro

KAWAGOE has an old traditional little street which is about 1 hour away from Tokyo centre by train. It is very cute place.　 Those buildings were used as storages a long time ago. Now, they are shops, cafes, restaurants..... Rice crackers........... you can buy just one at the time and eat it while hanging around .... An old time rickshaw  KUMANO shrine foot massage stones............                    ouch...💦 Retro Bus There are a few European style buildings........  Those yellow buildings remind me of New Regent street in Christchurch, New Zealand where I used to be........

We went to " Pauanui " across from Tairua by ferry.  It just over there........   " Pauanui beach "  The beach was soooooooooooo beautiful!!!   Lisa gone back...... Lisa the little girl.....  hahaha !!

We drove " Hot water beach " ( the road was so winding that all got sick........) There........dig the sand and you will get to some hot water... but not for us, we were at the wrong time(tide). The beach was beautiful. " Hot water beach "   .......................................................................... Then we drove on to " Cathedral cove " We walked about 45 minutes up and down to the beach. We didn't expect such a hard walk..... When we arrived at the beach it was heavenly beautiful !!!!!!!! " Cathedral cove " ...............do not forget we had to go back the same path...hahaha It was hard but we all enjoyed it.

31st. Dec. 2016 The last day of the year, we left for the North Island to Tairua, first time out of Auckland Airport.  Lovely weather and nice view about 2 hours drive to Tairua.  The scenery has changed looking like that in Coromandel......  Jangle!? Our friend's house is top of the hill with great view. The view from the living room........   We had a delicious BBQ ( Swiss style ) and watching New Year's fireworks with my parents and our lovely friends. The start of the year was great !!
