Swiss Bistro

T he first of May was for Japanese the beginning  of a new Era. Naruhito was crowned as Japan new Emperor. Very important day for Japanese people. Our fantastic friends and her mother made it even more special. They took us out at lunch time and off we went to TOKYO! Special lunch at Ukai-Tei....one of the most famous Japanese restaurant,it located underneath of Tokyo tower.  Having lunch as looking at this beautiful garden..... Japanese Amuse boushe and special Sake...... no ward to described it ...... Tofu skin and taro stem topped with sea urchin, Vinegared tomato with lightly seared octopus, Trout sushi wrapped in bamboo leaf, Deep-fried river shrimp, Sweet potato. Deep-fried tofu with miso Today's sashimi, Simmered and deep fried eggplant topped with Sakura shrimp, Tofu in worm seasoned  soymilk, deep fried and grilled fat greenling fish, Steamed rice with white bail, Japanese laqut, Yomogi tofu for dessert. some...

It is getting warmer lately, our clover outside looks so happy with a lot of four and five leaves!! Golden week holiday in Japan will soon be here and  we are open the same as usual. ( Wednesday close)  

After that the weather changed to rain.....

Day off ..... at The Ueno Museum. The Ueno museum is quite big, we took a walk in the garden behind it...... was nice.Cherry blossoms were almost finished, but the Japanese garden was nice.    After a lot of waking  we were thirsty...... Prost!

It's very sad Cathedrale Notre-Dame has got fired..............

We had a nice party with lovely people... Basmati rice, Prawn curry, Chicken Madras,  Mango lassi......Crepes Suzette. We enjoyed it and laughed for six hours......What a fantastic time!!! and again!!! we got some nice presents from our lovely people..... Georges favorite pickles 'Narazuke', some soups and Japanese sweets. wow...
