 Christmas presents from a good friend in Switzerland!!!

This is the Telecom Christmas tree. It is the most beautiful tree ever in Christchurch !!! This is the telephone booth " Santa Line" you can call Santa, asking for presents.How cool !!!! Merry Christmas to you !! 

We entered on the corner of Oxford terrace and  Armagh street. We think one or two of those buildings are not standing straight....but we don't know which one.... The bridge is terribly damaged..... I was a little scared to walk on it.  Victoria square is looking nice again with new planted flowers....  Captain Cook and Queen Victoria are still standing...  The fountain has a lot of cracks....... Around the square　is the Forsyth Barr building in which was the Japanese embassy. A lot of steel from the demolished concrete buildings still laying around. The National bank is still standing .......but will  be called ANZ bank soon due to a merger ...  A little bridge in the square is cracked too....  The Crown Plaza Hotel stood here .... No decision yet about the town hall will it be demolished ..... or not

It was beautiful Summer day with 25℃... Lovely lunch at friend's house. yummy food and with good friends!!!!!!!!!!!!

This scenery in the city centre.......... Famers building being demolished. The Copthorne Hotel was here.....now there is a huge empty space,  and opposit  was theCrown plaza Hotel.  The Rotunda Restaurant has gone too........... before  Price Waterhouse Cooper building almost gone...... Some music in the air in the city...... My favourite cherry blossom. Beautifully coloured Rhododendrons... and our lunch !!! .............chicken souvlaki.

Tonight's wine is  " Veuve Ambal Brut " French sparkling rose, with  Poisson pane with pommes frites.
