Victoria square is open
We entered on the corner of Oxford terrace and Armagh street.
We think one or two of those buildings are not standing straight....but we don't know which one....
The bridge is terribly damaged..... I was a little scared to walk on it.
Victoria square is looking nice again with new planted flowers....
The fountain has a lot of cracks.......
Around the square is the Forsyth Barr building in which was the Japanese embassy.
A lot of steel from the demolished concrete buildings still laying around.
The National bank is still standing .......but will be called ANZ bank soon due to a merger ...
No decision yet about the town hall will it be demolished ..... or not

A little bridge in the square is cracked too....
The Crown Plaza Hotel stood here ....
