missing our coffee...
We went to a café with an Italian name, so we expected to have a nice European coffee. It was ok, but nothing like in Europe ....... hmmmmm.......it is not easy to find a nice European "café Latte" in Christchurch now.

small, smaller, smallest
I was attracted by those for a few weeks in the super-market, should I buy them or not........are....those mandarins. Because...... they were so tiny tiny and cute !!!! I tried to find the smallest one. normal size(left) ...... smallest size(right) The taste was as good as the normal ones.
First time after 16 months
We heard that the area around our CAFÉ was open, so we went for a walk in the city centre...... passing some spot we used to walk before........ Here was a Church..... now there are empty chairs reminding us all the people who lost their life in the earthquake. This is my favourite place by the river bordered with Poplar trees where we used to walk with our dog....... Price Waterhouse Cooper Building is getting demolished now. ex Marque Hotel now, Rendez Vous Hotel is standing strongly by the entrance of our Café. Gloucester street The car park in Manchester street still has to be demolished .......... The weather was nice so a lot of people were visiting the sad city centre. around this corner was our friend's shop that has been completely demolished. Our Café is in there..... It was ...
KOTATSU
Kotatsu is a Japanese heater........like this. It is a little coffee table with heater underneath. We were given this " Kotatsu " by our friend. Our dog used to like it too.......Zzzzz It is getting colder here Christchurch, it is almost winter ......
Amusing excuse !?
