Sumner

Sumner has been badly damaged by the February's earthquake, part of the cliff fell down and the streets were badly damaged. The streets are still bumpy and fences are everywhere.

Sumner has nice beach with a lot of people in the Summer. Today was a bank holiday in New Zealand (Labour Day) so people were enjoying walking and being in the sunshine.

We could see the Alps over there, they are still covered with snow........beautiful.
