Rebuild #5 Problems
Cathedral Junction is open now, our BISTRO not yet. Our BISTRO is ready to reopen...........BUT there are few more problems............!! I can not believe that, our precious coffee counter was stolen!!!!!!!!!!!!! They said keep it in the basement until the renovations are finished. That place was only accessible by the workers. ............and suddenly it was gone....... We are still waiting to know what happened to it. The decoration windows which they had to re-make on the wall were not installed properly. The next day, it looked like that on the floor. It is getting too much......................
Rebuild #4 Painted
Rebuild at the Cathedral Junction is almost over ..... and moving in our BISTRO is getting nearer...... The colour of the floor is a bit different to what we ordered, but it does not matter too much, and a few things are still missing......
Abandoned places
Almost 3 years since the earthquake...... In the city centre... +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Rescued "Lavender" We found some Lavender on the road side, so we picked it up and put it in our garden. But ooops it looks like it is dying.... I hope it will survive...
Rebuild BISTRO #3 Table
We bought a nice old oak table on " Trade me ". It was not too expensive, but we needed to do some work on it to make it look nicer for our BISTRO. So, we sand it down with the help of our friend. Sam( the dog) is helping us too....... After about 2 hours, and some loving (linseed oil) it looked like that!!! Now the table is like new, shiny.
