Swiss Bistro

Our BISTRO is still under renovation.... We have just done some repainting for our home made bracket. It looks good now!!! And, we bought 18 chairs.........  to bring them home we needed to put them in the car.....can you imagine 18 chairs  to fit in it !? well... Giorgio did it, Swiss brain!!!!  

There is still a lot of work to do in the Cathedral Junction....... How about our Swiss Café?  ....We had to start almost from scratch. The wall between kitchen and front has just been re-done like it used to be ... The only good thing is that we don't need to do it ourselves,we just give them all the instruction. And also we don't need to paint it !!!!!! This fake window we designed before had to be re-made !!! before It is getting closer now.

This is not right !!!!!! I found this in a shop. I hate it. They use the Swiss cross for Medical things or to show hospital on a map......... instead of a red cross. It happens so often and make me so mad !!!

It has been 2 and half years since we lost our café due to the earthquake. We felt sometimes like giving up............  BUT, finally things start to move........... We went to the site today to see the progress of the rebuild. After talking to the master builder he thinks we could be moving in the next 2-3 weeks. We hope we will see you soon in our new BISTRO !!! I bought these today, three little " Swiss " cows....cute ( they are little milk jugs).

September 1st is officially the start of spring in New Zealand. In this nice weather I went for a walk with Giorgio, we haven't been walking together for a long time .... Those trees are funny   ①      ....half a tree....!? Funny tree ②　 looks like Medusa....... Funny tree ③  branches going up and down...!!! and lovely flowers......   ......I like  White Magnolia ..... Colourful flowers.... I forgot the name..... Anemone .... what a cute name, come from Anemos(Greek) which means " wind "   Christmas Rose Star Magnolia   Poppies Woops! Duck's family is crossing....          Pink Magnolia Cherry blossom ...the first flower................ Yellow Aloe Hairy Aloe .....hahaha Rhododendron ............ Red one is Giorgio's favourite
