Swiss Bistro

On the 31th of  Dec. Traditionally we eat soba noodles..........the meaning of long life. We went to the Shrine at midnight, it was very cold !!!!! On New year's Day Traditionally we eat  " Osechi " ........ Japanese new year's cuisine Black beans, Chestnuts, Taro, Tuna wrapped in seaweed.......  and " Zoni " ..... a Japanese soup containing mochi rice cake  crab salmon caviar

before the new year it is the busiest time at the Tsukiji market.   Tsukiji market Big tuna !!!!!!   that's big !!! These karts go everywhere in the small alleys......they don't stop, people have to watch where they are walking or standing....We almost got run over, the drivers don't care!!!! There are many small food shops.....people eat quickly and go . We bought a big crab , octopus and some big prawns After shopping we had a sushi lunch!!! yummy......

The Sky tree is normally blue but on Christmas day it was red.......   Is Christmas from Germany???  The shops were selling a lot of German things....

We are leaving New Zealand. On our way, we saw the  " Hobbit " airplane. On the airplane we saw a rainbow......in the sky, the rainbow was round...... Landing in Japan !!! We can see the coast by  Chiba " Choushi "  The rice fields are brown......... it is winter........ Viva, JAPAN !!!
