A Happy New Year !!! 2012 It was nice day for the first day . We went for a our first walk of the year. We found some nice Sunflowers around the street.......    full bloomed Hydrangeas.......    bottom up duckling Cheers !!! with plum wine.

It was a terrible year for us......we had a lot of earthquakes and we lost our cafe since the 22nd of February ... but we want to say thank you to our friends and the people who supported and encouraged us. W e  hope next year will be much better with your help.

Merry Christmas !!! We usually work on Christmas day so this year is not  the same for us............ too quiet for us. 1. Opening some presents  DIESEL perfume 2. Another lot of earthquakes hit Christchurch. The first one 1:58pm  M5.8 was followed by  M5.3 , M4.6 and M6.0....M5.0...... scary... We thought it was over now slowly and the city cordon was starting to reduce itself ....but it was back to square one again !!! Pictures of 23rd. Dec Christchurch Earthquake

Rumtopf is a jar full of summer fruits soaking in rum and sugar made in the summer to be eaten in the winter time. You can eat it with ice cream or in a pancake......or even mix the juice in a glass of Champagne or sparkling wine. Last year we made it  but it was broken in the earthquake......... so we hope for better luck this year !!! You can buy it at the Swiss café this winter.....

Hanmer Spring is a little village about 2 hours drive from Christchurch. Taking a little walk around the park with pound.  The entrance of the hot spring pools. This time we didn't go in the pool.........  next time we will bring our swimming costume. There are a few big funny trees around......... It was a nice summer day in Hanmer Spring. It is a good place for holidays !!

Claudia's family house is a little farm  ........ with  rabbits, choocks,  Puppy in training..... " shaking hand " " wait  " " Good  " little girl says....." wait ..... " " wait.......,  "    " . .....wait....... "
